im getting this error when clicking the CHECK UPDATE

Python Error: ‘cp932’ codec can’t decode byte 0x94 in position 5027: illegal multibyte sequence

extra feedback from the last one

any clues?

I assume you’re on iSRO which probably doesn’t use that codec. Most plugins were written for vSRO.

This plugin is not written for vSRO, not even using encoding stuffs and that could be the issue.
It is using your default system encodings handling incorrectly some files or maybe your plugin file is saved with a wrong encoding.

My bad

This plugin is not written for vSRO only

Just update the plugin. I think any encoding error will be skipped. If that doesn’t work, just open your plugin file and save it using another encoding like ANSI.

If you’re playing TRSRO or VTC this plugin won’t work. You don’t need it anyway, these plugins are rarely updated.
