phBot subscription does not extended from the previous purchase?

As the title, I purchased my 1st subscription on 21/6 and the expiration is on 20/7.
Today (18/7) I extend the subscription 4 weeks and the email return me that the expiration is on 17/8.

Is it true that the system supposed to extend the subscription, not to reset it?

it will extend it as long as you type the same email. When you open the bot it tells you how many days you have left.
