auto trade option "attack thieves" doesnt work for me

I want the bot to kill the npc thieves and the introduction says :
Attack spawned thieves

  • Attack thieves in a specified radius around the transport.

  • In order for this option to work you must use “Stay off transport” or “Remount transport”.

Unfortunatly that doesnt work. The bot wont attack them and just continues to move.
