About VPS

I want to rent a VPS and run a full iSro party there and the only reason im doing this is that I dont want to run my laptop 24/7 dose it work? and if yes.

I want to know if this one can run iSro

Linux as operation system
KVM OpenStack
1 vCore(s)
Ab 2 GHz
2 GB RAM
20 GB SSD

and wich system should I use

  • Arch Linux 64 Bit
  • CentOS 6 64 Bit
  • CentOS 7 64 Bit
  • Debian 7 64 Bits
  • Debian 8 64 Bits
  • Debian 9 Englisch 64 Bits
  • Fedora 26 Englisch 64 Bit
  • Ubuntu 16.04 Server 64 Bit
  • Ubuntu 18.04 Server

8 characters? That should be enough. You will need the CrapTrap subscription for clientless.

yeah 8 or 6 characters and wich one of these should I choose:

  • Arch Linux 64 Bit
  • CentOS 6 64 Bit
  • CentOS 7 64 Bit
  • Debian 7 64 Bits
  • Debian 8 64 Bits
  • Debian 9 Englisch 64 Bits
  • Fedora 26 Englisch 64 Bit
  • Ubuntu 16.04 Server 64 Bit
  • Ubuntu 18.04 Server

can I use proxy on VPS so I wouldnt have to login only 2 accounts at a time?

Thanks

Ubuntu 18.04 and use this script to get it setup: Ubuntu

I would prefer Debian 9 with default Gnome or XFCE.

Lighter = better in this case.

I got the VPS but if any one can help me set it up because i cant figur out im new to this

SSH in and run the command in the thread I linked above. If you don’t know how to do that then you probably need an SSH client like PuTTY: https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html

I got PuTTY and im now running the command from the other thread.
can I pm you on discord if you have time? i have some questions

If you have more questions you can post them here.

so im connected with PuTTY and i ran the command it started to download but after a few mins i got connection lost and the download speed is very low

Who did you get the VPS from? If it’s slow it means the connection is terrible.

i got from OVH and im getting this error when i try ssh [email protected]
The authenticity of host ‘IPv4 (IPv4)’ can’t be established.

If you want to PM me your TeamViewer info I can take a look.
