Disable windows scripts host will turn off the ability for things like javascripts to run on your PC, the option was added to help people avoid being scammed, i would recommend enabling that.
To update your bot, open a bot without manager. If that still doesnt work open the phbot.ini file and remove the "UpdateSkip = " line. Then save it and open the bot again.

Some people send java scripts that are called for example “phbot_scripts” or sro_client_fix". Its fake things that are likely a key logger or something. Disabling windows scripts will make it so these java scripts cant run on your pc.
